EEDA manage regeneration funding for the region. Major responsibility for the regional infrastructure, including road, rail and communication links and education.

Manufacturing Advisory Service East
A forum to encourage small groups of manufacturing companies to share their experience in developing improving working practices. By working together and developing mutual trust within the group, members have a forum in which to discuss practical problems which influence their effectiveness as manufacturers.

Major initiative to develop the Cambridge to Ipswich hi-tech corridor into Suffolk, North Essex and beyond. The Chamber sponsors the Sudbury regional group of the project. Set up with £112,000 of EC funds, via EEDA, and matched funding.
